MENTAL WELLBEING
It is hard to describe the feeling when your are physically active... There
is a clarity of thought, decreased fatigue, increased stamina, self confidence... It is something that has to be experienced. When you are caring for your body and doing what you know it needs, it brings a sense of wellbeing that is vital for all other functions. Start the process of exercising, and stick with it as part of your life, and you will never be the same.
We encourage self examination while you are exercising.... Look into
yourself and see if there are areas that you need to work at. Often you have that little voice in the back of your head that talks to you while you are exercising. Listen to the ideas that come up and think about them. Can you improve your relations with someone that you have been at odds with? Are there other habits that you really know are not good for you that you need to change? Are you around people that bring you down instead of build you up? You can choose to change!!
Take the time while you work on improving your physical wellbeing to
contemplate your mental wellbeing.
