So what does exercise have to do with all of this?
It has been discovered that through a specific type of exercise you can cause the mitochondria to increase their capacity to do work by 300%. Wow! On top of that this same exercise can as much as double the mitochondria in a cell. Double the powerhouses of the body and increase their capacity to produce energy... You can increase your potential for work by as much as 600%! Is that a worth wild cause??!!
Ok...so how do you do it?
Try "target heart rate walking"
Take 180 beats per minute minus your age and this is your target rate...keep it within 5 points above or below. It is at this range that the 'mitochondria'...the powerhouse of the cell where 95% of all energy is produced....works the best.
That's it!! GET WALKING!
It only takes 20 minutes a day 3 times a week...The more you do it, the more benefits you receive!
