I work on the scientific fact that the brain and the nervous system control and coordinate every function of the human body. It is known that interference to the nervous system can slowly (or quickly!) erode your health....My job is to locate the subluxation (interference) and remove (adjust) it. This is how chiropractors help restore and maintain the body's natural health and energy.
Dr. Kevin W. Ross is an Arizona native with his roots in the East Valley. His undergraduate work was completed at Northern Arizona University while his post graduate work was finished at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Kevin also lived for some time in Southeast Asia. Some of his interests include track and field, downhill skiing, gardening and yard work as well as a general love of nature.
While in Iowa, Dr. Ross met his lovely bride and relocated her to Mesa. Gina was formally an elementary school teacher in the Kyrene School District and is now a full time mother of two! Dr. and Mrs. Ross are both Christians and are active at Red Mountain Community Church in Mesa, Arizona.
Kevin is a pediatric and pregnancy based chiropractor. He attends the yearly National Conference on Chiropractic and Pediatrics and other seminars so he can continue to provide the latest information on chiropractic and health from pregnancy through pediatrics. Currently he has almost 100 hours of continuing education in the subject. Dr. Ross has a strong desire to see the children of this area grow up healthy and stay that way for life. Because of this desire over 30% of his practice daily is pediatrics.
Dr. Ross is also interested and available to speak to groups about chiropractic and a variety of health related subjects.
As I see my patients experience better health, as we "turn the power on" and see wonderful things happen, it keeps me excited about telling more people about this experience called chiropractic!, says Dr. Ross.
